Atlast we are humans and then most of us are foodies, so how can we eat the same diet for weeks or months. There should be a cheat meal after a long week of clean diet right?
Cheat meal is a pleasure or you can say a reward to our body after all the work put in to reach to our goals. Its a pleasure and you will be able to feel that completely only if you have been consistent and discilplined about your goal.
Cheat meal is necessary because it regulates our hormones and it has alot to do with our metabolism. The main hormones involve are leptin and ghrelin
Leptin sends a signal that your tummy is full and it regulates our apetite, on the other hand ghrelin is a hormone that tell you when you are hungry.
Cheat meal regulates the hormones or you can say it jumpstarts the metabolism, where after a cheat meal you will get to see results again, in a way it encourages the body to keep burning calories.
Its like giving incentive to yourself for all the work that has put in and it also motivates for a healthy lifestyle.
But remember its a cheat meal not cheat day.
So lets break the ice, All you need is:
Bread (brown/white),
Chicken 100-150gm,
diced onion,
Diced green chillies,
Cheese slice,
Mayonnaise,
Oil,
Butter (optional)
Salt,
Vinegar.
Alright, so wash the chicken nicely and cut into medium pieces, then heat up the pan and add some oil and add some diced green chillies, after that add chicken pieces and keep the flame low and cover the lid, after 2 mins give a splash of vinegar and add a pinch of salt and again cover the lid and cook until a knife passes through the chicken nicely. remember you only want the flavour of chillies in the oil.
After the chicken is cooked, remove the chicken and add diced onion in the same oil with a pinch of salt, and let the onion caramalize.
Now take 2 bread slice, add cheese slice on to the one side and spread mayonnaise on the other side of bread. Add caramalized onion on to the cheese slice and also add chicken pieces on top of it, make it a sandwich by adding other bread slice on top of it. Nicely press the sandwich and add some butter/oil on to the pan, toast the sandwich nicely and boom you are ready to go.
Cut the sandwich diagnoally because it just feels right, and you will see nicely melted cheese with tender chicken.
Take the first bite, you will love it, cheers !!
Well, you can also add a lettuce leaf, you know, so that it will look a bit healthy.
